Home From Home

Florabank has two floors with a lift and a stair lift serving the upper floor. On the ground floor our spacious dining room is accessed from the entrance hall and opens onto the conservatory and lounge. We also have a lovely multipurpose room which can be used for meetings, training, care plan reviews, and on a Monday it becomes our hairdressers.

The light and spacious conservatory is south facing and looks down the length of the garden, which has its own ramps, ample safe paths for walking, a summer house and an extensive, seating area. Our dining room accommodates all residents in one sitting and the kitchen delivers a delicious two course lunch as well as a cooked tea. Residents are encouraged to socialise at meal times but we serve meals to rooms for those who request it.

As one would expect for a care home of this quality, Florabank has all the latest equipment and services: alarm call system, hoists, stand aids, bubble bath with lift, an in-house laundry, to make our residents as happy and comfortable as possible. We also have an optician, Podiatrist, and hairdresser, who visit the home to offer their services.
